Following further careful monitoring of the Met Office’s weather warning, which is now RED for 1st and 2nd March for our area, we have again taken the decision to close both our schools for a second day, Friday March 2nd . This is in order to ensure that no child or member of staff is at risk as a result of the predicted heavy snow, high winds and subsequent very icy conditions. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused but hope that you understand that our first duty of care is to the safety and wellbeing of the school community. We do hope all will be well on Monday 5th March- remember to check on the Devon schools closure website.
Snow work is under the children’s section on our the website and you can also check out and try any activities on http://www.worldbookday.com/ and finally… if you make a snow man, snow dog, or snow creature and can photograph it, we will look at them next week. Take care!
